What's a Story Slam?
Think of it as 10 movies in 2 hours, except the stories are true, happen live, and you’re invited to join the show!

Cinco de Mayo, a date which honors Mexico’s victory over France, has evolved into an American holiday that celebrates Mexican culture and heritage… and our shared passion for margaritas.
…and speaking of evolutionary tales, this Cinco de Mayo we’re celebrating with a Story Slam that spotlights growth, development, and surprise awakenings.

EVOLVED.
These are stories about becoming, overcoming, persisting, coming full circle, or rediscovering yourself. Maybe it’s about the time you climbed a mountain or maybe it’s about the time you dug yourself out of a hole. Your story may or may not involve tequila.
At the end of the night, one storyteller wins! But remember. The real prize is knowing you are an evolved person.
We have limited spots for storytellers. Sign up in advance on your ticket form. Seating is open, so arrive early for the best seats.

How It Works
1. Buy Tickets
Your ticket gets you in the door. Food and drink available for purchase on site or pre-order our specialty cocktail experience in advance.
2. Tell us if you want to be a storyteller.
After you purchase tickets, you'll be prompted to sign up to be a storyteller. Story spots are limited so your best shot is to declare your intentions at check out.
3. Save the date!
We'll see you on May 5th for a memorable night of fun, food, and stories. Doors open at 6pm. Stories start at 7pm. Seating is open so come early!
Special musical guest, guitarist Hans Barklis.
Hans will grace our storytelling night with his musical talents, offering a rich selection of string melodies and Latin rhythms.
His experience spans collaborations with notable organizations such as Ethos, Joy Now Arts Project, and the Latino Network, among others. Hans is dedicated to sharing the profound love and joy that music embodies.
